Recta Brush is a custom-made roller shade that lets light in and keeps the room visible from outside. The Recta fascia has a geometric profile, a clean line that matches square window frames. Its sheer fabric, Brush, streaked like a brushstroke, makes the shade a good fit for living rooms, sunrooms and windows that don't get direct sun.

Lets the light in: 22% to 46% of visible light passes through depending on the color, and in the evening, with the lights on, you can see in from outside.
Fascia and bottom rail in the same powder-coated aluminum alloy: solid metal, in six colors.
Brushstroke-streaked fabric: the irregular weave stays visible against the light. Three colors, order fabric samples.

Brush has the surface of a brushstroke drawn out until the color runs dry: the mark breaks up into streaks that stay visible against the light.

It's one of the fabrics that let the most light through, from 22% to 46% depending on the color, and it adds just a veil between the room and the outside. That makes it a good fit for windows that don't get direct sun, where there's nothing to block and you only need a divide.

The three colors are chosen to work in both light, warm rooms and cool, modern ones. In the evening, though, it won't give you privacy: nighttime privacy is 0 out of 4 on all three.

The fabrics and brackets are chosen by Centro Stile Maanta, our in-house style office in Italy: the fabrics one by one, with weaves that give the room character while staying easy to match, and the brackets to suit the fabrics. Six finishes, three for warm tones and three for cool, so fabric and bracket arrive already coordinated.

WARNING – CHILD SAFETY: The chain poses a potential strangulation hazard to children. Keep the chain out of reach of children. Do not place cribs, beds or furniture near the shade: children could climb up and reach the chain. Do not knot the chain. Install and use the safety devices supplied (chain tensioner and safety hooks) correctly, following the instructions. The chain tensioner must be fastened to the wall with slight tension. The chain must stay at least 59" above the floor.

It doesn't: it lets through 22% to 46% of visible light depending on the color and simply puts a light veil between inside and out. It doesn't block direct sun either. For darkness, there are the Blend Blackout and Canvas Blackout fabrics; for real screening, the light-filtering fabrics Horizon, Earth and Fine Line.
