To properly secure Maanta poles and base plates, you need accessories engineered to withstand tensile forces, weather conditions, and dynamic loads. The M10 threaded rods (4 ¾") are recommended for wall base plates, while the M12 threaded rods (5") are ideal for ground mounting Alu Simple, Ulisse, and EZ Mast poles, even with a collar.
The injection mortar M-Plus completes the system by filling every gap in the hole and ensuring a secure grip even on porous or uneven surfaces.
For large shade sails, add the rear bracing system: this pole anchoring tie rod reduces stress and keeps constant tension even in strong winds. Anchor it to a concrete base to guarantee a solid and durable traction point.
Combined with correct installation, Maanta pole anchoring tie rods provide season-after-season safety and reliability.
The Alu Simple Pole can be complemented with shade sail pole accessories that enhance both its design and functionality, adding value to every installation down to the smallest detail.

Maanta wall plates are specially designed to withstand the tension of a shade sail; they are larger than standard plates on the market and feature 4 holes. This means 4 threaded rods are required for each wall plate.
One set includes 4 rods, so just one set is enough per plate.
No, they must be ordered separately. This lets you choose the most suitable anchoring method based on the surface where you’ll install the shade sail.
After inserting the threaded rod, let the injection mortar cure for at least 30 minutes.
For optimal strength, Maanta recommends waiting 2 to 12 hours before applying any load.
Maanta, an Italian company specialized in outdoor shading, recommends using a 14 mm drill bit with a depth of about 6".
For a secure fastening, drill the footing with a “funnel shape”: this way the injection mortar will better fill every gap.
For each Ulisse and Alu Simple pole with a 75° or 90° base, you’ll need 1 set of 4 threaded rods M12 x 5".
Note: for Ulisse poles anchored with a collar, 2 sets of 4 threaded rods M12 x 5" are required — a total of 8 threaded rods.

Cet élément supplémentaire devrait être mis avec le mât Ulisse car il faut donner d'office la possibilité une solution de modification de hauteur de la voile sans dévisser et revisser le seul bouton fourni. Als Zusatz wäre zu überlegen, ob in Zukunft sehr lange Gewindestangen und Dübel für Wärmeverbundfassaden mit angeboten werden. Wärmedämmung ist mittlerweile 16cm dick und ein ordentliches befestigen gestaltet sich aufwändig. Bohren, dübeln, einkleben der Stangen, Stangen auf Länge bringen, abdichten und verschrauben 2 Tage und 8h Arbeit. Zu empfehlen, während des aushärten, die Montageplatten auf die Gewindestange stecken. Read more Read less

Verified reviewNachdem es etwas mühselig war, mit dem normalen Segeltau und den Schraubklemmen ordentlich Spannung auf das Segel zu bekommen, habe ich das Muscle X3 Kit 2x nachbestellt. Das Set macht für dieses Geld einen soliden Eindruck und hält was es verspricht. Damit kann ich nun ordentlich Zug auf das Segel bekommen, ohne große Anstrengung. Auch das Lösen geht spielend einfach. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei. Habe nach intensiver Suche im Netz auch nichts Vergleichbares in dieser Preisklasse gefunden. Read more Read less
