Alu Simple is 9' 6" ft high (12' 9 1/2" with optional extension, see product sheet) and is resistant to strong winds, rust and salt spray. It is designed to last even in areas with particularly unfavorable weather conditions.

Description

The Ulisse shade pole is a specific product for garden sails.
This particular type of shade requires particularly taut fabrics to cope perfectly with the wind and optimize rainwater drainage.
It is also necessary to give a height difference of at least one corner of the sail to allow drainage of the liquid element and/or cut off the air.

It is from these needs that we have created the Ulisse pole, which is considerably stiffer than the 110 diameter stainless steel poles.

The bending strength is incomparable to a 2.4 inches diameter pole offered by many competitors.

The 2mm thickness and elliptical shape make it a design pole but at the same time incomparable tensile strength.
With the new anchoring system, we will have a lot of leeway: since the closer the top is to its anchor, the stronger it will be, the new Muscle X3 anchoring system will allow both maximum tension and maximum freedom.

It is no longer necessary to carefully calculate the dimensions of the kit, as the rope and pulleys will adapt wonderfully to changing needs and allow us to provide great tension to the end, thanks to the multiplication of the force by the pulleys.
With only 30 lbs applied to the corner of the sail, we get 60 lbs!!!

The galvanizing process makes our colors persistent and durable, while the 4 different height options make the canopy malleable, helping you create shade where you need it (just raise or lower the flap), offering dynamic protection and aiding perfect rainwater drainage.

Up to 4 different sails (or 2 front sails and a rear brace to aid anchoring) can be anchored to the same pole using the hooks already provided!

The joint is designed to further reinforce the pole itself.
The pole restraint is achieved using a special mold that works to the tenth of a millimeter.
It will then be easy to assemble/disassemble the pole if necessary, mainly due to its design features and compact dimensions.
The pole kit includes a very sturdy plate a 0.4 inches thick base, able to withstand inclement weather.

J'ai contrebalancé la force exercée en fixant une accroche à l'opposé des voiles. J'ai concu un bloc béton pour positionner le mat en terre. Le matériel est d'une résistance et d'une qualité très satisfaisante. Le prix se justifie par la qualité du produit. Les accessoires achetés sont de la même qualité. Un premier oeilleton à vis serait le bienvenu avec le mat. Le produit est parfait, j'aurai juste une remarque concernant le bouchon en plastique noir qui obture le haut du mât, il ne joint pas correctement le profil, j'ai essayé de le faire rentrer un peu plus avec un maillet en caoutchouc mais rien ne bouge. Ceci n'est qu'une question esthétique mais c'est un peu dommage. A signaler également, le colis était très abimé au niveau de la platine du mât, mais aucun dégât sur le produit. Cordialement. Il le fallait 2 mâts mais j'en ai d'abord commandé un pour voir la qualité. Mât esthétique et de bonne qualité, j'en ai donc commandé un second. Le seul défaut est l'emballage. Pour le premier mat, il manquait tous les accessoires car le carton n'est pas très epais et les transporteurs ne sont pas soigneux. Du coup, le carton s'est légèrement ouvert, et je pense que les accessoires sont sortis. Mais le service après ventre est très réactif et à tout de suite envoyé ce qu'il manquait. Die bestellten beiden Masten mit Wandhalterung kamen innerhalb von 4 Tagen aus Italien. UPS hatte die Ware bereits für Montag angekündigt, diese dann aber erst am Dienstag angeliefert. Es handelt sich um sehr stabile Masten und um jeweils 4 Wandhalterungen aus ebenfalls sehr gutem Material. Excellent rapport qualité-prix

Livraison : Livraison depuis l'Italie rapide, en revanche qq pb locaux avec mon livreur en région parisienne (difficultés à prendre RV, absence de numéro suivi lors du changement entre transporteurs). Un paquet de vis a été perdu pendant le transport mais rien de grave s'agissant de pièces standards. Configuration & matériel : acheté en version acier galvanisé sur montage avec platines d'une terrasse de 45m² exposée au vent (nous avons cassés plusieurs parasols), il nous fallait du matériel solide qui puisse résister et dont les voiles puissent être démontées rapidement en cas de forts orages. - les poteaux, livrés en deux parties, sont aisément transportables par un adulte, ce qui est très pratique quand on habite en étage ;) - montage aisé ; j'ai cependant dû limer un des poteaux qui refusait de s'emboîter dans l'autre partie. - mes fixations étant murales sur support béton vibré , j'ai commandé la version platine. Contrairement aux vidéos fournies sur le site, j'ai utilisé des chevilles à expansion pour charges lourdes en 12mmx70mm. Prévoir 8 chevilles par poteau & le coût associé (les vidéos préconisent des tiges filetées à scellement chimique). Mise en place : - une fois les platines bien alignées, montage aisé des 4 poteaux. 4 positions disponibles en face avant, 2 positions libres en face arrière, chaque poteau est livré avec un œillet à visser qui n'est ni plus ni moins qu'un anneau de levage mâle de 8mm. J'ai donc complété certaines positions libres avec ces anneaux si le souhaite déplacer ma voile (en grande distri. bricolage à prix modique). - le système à double poulie a été disposé aux 4 poteaux. Il a été complété aux extrémité côtés voile par 4 mousquetons pour libérer rapidement la voile en cas de pluie ou vent (coût modique aussi). Le système de poulie reste ainsi en place sur le poteau lorsque la voile n'est pas présente. La double poulie fonctionne très bien, il est facile de tendre une voile même de grande taille et donc lourde. Pour ma part j'aurai souhaité qu'il y ait un peu plus de longueur de corde (1 à 2m de plus). - dispositif d'ensemble, rendu & usage : le rendu, toile montée, est très qualitatif. Le dispositif est robuste, les poteaux ne bougent pas en cas de vent et seront facilement démontables cet hiver. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent par rapport à la concurrence. The Ulisse pole is specially designed to anchor more than one sail. In fact, it is equipped with 6 different attachment points that allow multi-sail anchoring and total customization of the shaded area.

Yes, the Ulisse pole withstands adverse weather conditions. It is made of galvanized or paint coated steel and guarantees protection from rust.

Simply unscrew the eyebolt and place it at the desired position. This feature allows total shading customization according to the specific needs based on the time of day, the season, and weather conditions.

Ulisse can be used with all Maanta sails not exceeding 270 ft². In which case, we recommend opting for Alu Simple, our aluminum pole with front and back tracks.

We strongly advise against this operation, but should you wish to proceed we cannot guarantee success given the tenth-of-a-millimeter accuracy of the digital cut with which it is made.

No. Ulisse poles are provided with a steel ground base to be installed on a cemented base at least 6 in thick, or on a 25 x 25 x 25 in concrete plinth.

Based on the technical information available for the **Ulisse** pole, here are the requirements for the concrete footer (plinth): Minimum dimensions: - Width/Length: 60 x 60 cm (~24" x 24") - Depth:** 60 cm (~24") So a 60 x 60 x 60 cm cube is the minimum specified. For a cylindrical footer, you'd want a diameter of at least 60 cm (~24") to ensure equivalent structural integrity. For your 12x12' sail (≈ 13.4 m²): - This is under the 20 m² threshold, so the footer dimensions above are sufficient - However, since you're close to that range, installing a **rear guy wire (tirante controvento)** is still strongly recommended for added stability Anchoring hardware you'll need: - 4x M12 threaded rods** — to bolt the base into the footer - Chemical anchor cartridge** — 1 cartridge covers up to 8 holes, so one is sufficient for a single pole Make sure the threaded rods are set while the concrete is still wet, or drilled and chemically anchored after curing — both methods work well with the Ulisse base system.
