UP WHEN WINDY
The wind sensor in Maanta's anemometer automatically raises the blinds when gusts exceed the programmed threshold, protecting fabric and structure. Configurable to wind intensity levels of up to 180 km/h (112 mph), it triggers precisely, ensuring safety on the windiest of days.

DOWN WHEN SUNNY
The light sensor of Maanta's wireless anemometer automatically lowers the blinds when brightness exceeds the programmed threshold, reducing overheating of indoor spaces. Adjustable to intensity levels of up to 100 klux, it offers optimal comfort and flexibility, adapting itself to your needs.
WHY CHOOSE MAANTA ANEMOMETER
Integrated solar panel
It recharges the battery autonomously, reducing costs and environmental impact. It operates with no grid connection, ensuring continuous operation.
Wireless remote control
The anemometer is wireless and allows you to control the movement of your roller shades via radio, no wiring or specialised labour is required to install this device.
Advanced automatic control
It adapts the blinds to the weather: automatically rises them in strong wind, lowers them in bright light (more than 2 minutes continuous) and rises them again if brightness decreases.
Maanta Anemometer: Intelligent Wind Control
The Maanta anemometer is designed to detect wind speed through 3 hemispherical cups mounted on horizontal arms. When the wind hits the cups, they begin to rotate, measuring the speed of the air mass. The device has a small LCD display that shows information about the system status and a rear section with a solar panel, which recharges the battery using solar energy.
It offers automatic awning management in this way:
- Wind sensor: When the sensor detects a wind speed that exceeds the programmed level, the blind goes up automatically, remaining up for 8 minutes. If, during this time, the light sensor is active, the wind decreases and sunlight is detected, the blind goes down automatically.
- Light sensor: If brightness exceeds the programmed level for more than 2 minutes, the system commands the blind to lower. This sensor is deactivated for 15 minutes; if the light dims in the meantime, the blind is automatically raised again.
The LCD display is activated by pressing any of the buttons (except the reset button), and automatically switches off after 30 seconds of inactivity while continuing to run the programme.
The battery is constantly monitored by the built-in system. If the voltage drops below 2 .7 V, a small battery icon lights up on the display, indicating a low charge. At that moment, the solar panel activates charging to ensure continuous operation. If necessary, the anemometer can also be recharged via the USB-C port located at its base.

FAQ
To pair the anemometer with the roller shades, start by pairing the remote control with the blinds' motors, configuring the high and low limits. Then, connect the remote control to the anemometer following the instructions, and finally, complete the configuration of the anemometer according to your preferences. Pairing only the motor and anemometer, without the remote control, is possible, but is strongly discouraged to ensure optimal and safe operation of the system.
Yes, a single anemometer can be used to control several roller shades, as it sends the same signal to all connected motors.
To use the anemometer, a motorised blind must be purchased, as the device interacts directly with the motor of the blind to control its opening and closing.
If the light intensity exceeds the programmed level for more than 2 minutes, the sensor sends the signal to lower the blind. The light sensor will remain inactive for the next 15 minutes. If the light intensity decreases during this period, the blind will automatically be raised again.
When the anemometer detects a wind alarm, the blind will automatically go up. It will remain up for 8 minutes. If the wind calms down and the light sensor detects sun, the blind will automatically go down.
Yes, the light sensor can be excluded at any time, even after it has been set. If you do not want the blind to lower automatically depending on brightness, you can simply set it to ‘0’ during configuration or deactivate it later (with reset button).
We recommend installing the anemometer in an exposed position, preferably on the top of the blind or on a nearby wall, to ensure accurate wind detection.
The anemometer is equipped with a solar panel that independently charges the battery. It can also be charged via a USB-C port on the base of the device. (Power supply not included)
