Yes. The motor was designed exactly for this. If you already have a Recta or Kyma awning in the manual version and want to motorize it, you can purchase the motor separately and install it yourself. The process takes just a few minutes and doesn’t require any electrical system work.
No. The Maanta roller shades motor requires a control system to operate: either the Maanta multi-channel remote control or the Wi-Fi Bridge (sold separately). The Wi-Fi Bridge allows control via smartphone app, Alexa, or Google Home. Without one of these, the motor cannot be operated.
Yes, but you’ll need the optional Maanta Wi-Fi Bridge, sold separately. Once connected, you can control your awning via a smartphone app and integrate it with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice commands.
The Maanta multi-channel remote can control up to 15 shades at the same time. You can pair multiple motors to the same remote and operate the shades individually or in groups.

Soft stop is a progressive deceleration before stopping: the fabric doesn’t halt abruptly but slows down gradually, reducing stress on the mechanism. The favorite position is a storable intermediate height: with a single button on the remote control, the awning moves exactly to that spot every time.
