At lunch, one is enough. In the evening, open the other three. Each arm has its own independent gas piston: one gesture, it opens and closes in seconds.
The most organised way to cover 36 square metres is a single pole that opens like a cross.
At lunch, one is enough. In the evening, open the other three. Each arm has its own independent gas piston: one gesture, it opens and closes in seconds.
The most organised way to cover 36 square metres is a single pole that opens like a cross.
Four independent pistons: open only the panels you need, each in seconds. One base, one anchor point, 388 sq ft neatly arranged at the cardinal points.
A lever at the base rotates the entire structure: the four panels turn together, the cross changes orientation without losing its geometry.
Square aluminium column 4 3/8" × 4 3/8"; calibrated cross-section designed to withstand the simultaneous tension of four cantilevered arms.
Stitching engineered at tension points. The airvent releases wind pressure from above. The velcro keeps each arm closed with no loose flaps.
Solution-dyed acrylic fabric 260 gsm, UPF 50+, water-repellent, top airvent. The same quality as the single Cygnus, on every panel.
Panel and frame combinations designed by the Maanta Style Centre, our in-house design studio in Italy. Curated for contract use, not left to chance.

Pole (116" × 6¾" × 6¾") and 4 arms (95¼" × 11½" × 6¾" each) with pre-mounted fabric. Individually inspected before shipping.
Step-by-step illustrated guide: anchoring, arm assembly, and rotation adjustment.
One per fabric panel, integrated. Keeps the cover neatly closed along the arm when at rest. No loose flaps.
For the Qadro, we recommend having at least two people on hand or relying on experienced installers and requesting professional technical assistance. The central pole weighs nearly 48 lbs in its packaging, each umbrella head adds another 44 lbs, and assembling the four arms onto the pole requires coordination between at least two people.
Yes, and the Qadro is designed precisely for the premium hospitality segment. For hotels, resorts, beach clubs, and upscale restaurants, reach out to our customer service team: multi-unit quotes, B2B invoicing, and project support for selecting the right structural anchoring solution.
Technically yes, if the flooring can support a fixed anchor or approximately 220 lbs of distributed ballast, and if the building regulations allow a 20' × 20' umbrella. In practice, the Qadro is more of a hospitality solution than a residential one.
No: the Qadro upright (110×110 mm) is different from the Duo upright (75×124 mm) and handles four attachment points instead of two. Upgrading requires a complete replacement of the structural component.
Yes. There is a single lever at the base of the central pole: when you rotate it, the entire pole turns with all four arms, keeping the four-panel cross in any orientation. The same 360° rotation as the single Cygnus, applied to a cross-shaped geometry.
Acrishade fabrics are water-repellent and can handle brief rain showers. If heavy or prolonged rain is expected, or wind above 15 mph, fold in the four arms: the four perimeter Velcro straps keep them neatly secured along the upright post.
The Cygnus Single features one shade sail (3×3 m, approximately 10×10 ft, 9 m² / about 97 sq ft), the Duo has two shade sails side by side on the same pole (3×6 m, approximately 10×20 ft, 18 m² / about 194 sq ft), and the Qadro features four shade sails arranged in a cross pattern on a central pole (6×6 m, approximately 20×20 ft, 36 m² / about 388 sq ft). All models share the same mechanics — gas piston, 360° pole rotation — the same fabric, with a progressively larger base and footprint.
Each arm has its own independent piston. Open the ones you need, leave the others closed, or open all of them in just a few seconds each. Same technology used in car tailgates, multiplied by four.
The fabrics block over 98% of UV rays. This is the highest rating on the UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) scale — the equivalent of a SPF 50+ sunscreen, working consistently for as long as you stay underneath.
It is a single opening at the top of each panel, without a flap. When wind gets under the canopy, the airvent lets it escape from above: it reduces pressure and lowers the risk of the shade sail flipping over.
Water-repellent. Acrishade repels water and handles heavy splashes, but it's not a complete barrier: with prolonged or intense rain, some seepage is possible.
The rotation is of the central pole, not of the individual panels. There is a single lever at the base that unlocks the pole; you rotate it to the desired position and the four arms orient together. The cross maintains its geometry — only the direction changes.
Up to 15 mph. Above this threshold, we recommend folding in all four arms: the gas-piston assisted closing mechanism is quick and easy, even before a sudden summer storm.
Two combinations: Graphite fabric with Anthracite frame, White fabric with Matt Anodizing frame. On the Qadro, the color selection is tailored to the contract segment this product is designed for.
Between 2 and 3 hours the first time, including setting the fixed anchor and assembling the four arms onto the pole. Subsequent seasonal openings and closings take just a few minutes.
Yes, at minimum. For the Qadro, we ideally recommend three people during the raising of the central pole and the securing of the arms. Operator safety is always the top priority.
Each gas piston activates independently. Simply unlock only the arms you need and leave the others closed. Same procedure for closing: just a few seconds per arm.
Yes. Use lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge. Avoid solvents and high-pressure washers. The fabric panels should be left to dry open, in the shade.
If the area is sheltered, it's not required. For locations exposed to winter winds or snowfall, we recommend removing the four umbrella heads (the pole can remain anchored) to reduce wind resistance.
7 years on the frame (upright, four arms, gas pistons, rotation levers, aluminum). 3 years on the fabrics (seams, Acrishade fabric, textile accessories).
Yes. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal. The product must be returned intact and in its 5 original packaging.
Open the packages in front of the courier whenever possible. If you notice any external damage, accept the delivery with a written reservation. Take photos of both the packaging and the product, and send everything to us within 48 hours: we'll handle the claim directly with DHL.
No, we do not sell individual canopies, individual pistons, or individual replacement umbrella heads for Cygnus Qadro.
