For those managing outdoor work spaces: restaurants with open-air seating, hotels, resorts, beach clubs, and waterfront establishments. And for those with large private terraces or villas who need a single, expansive shade solution.

In two sizes: 16'5" × 16'5" square (approx. 269 sq ft of coverage) and Ø 19'8" octagonal (approx. 301 sq ft).

Yes. Maanta's customer service team speaks five languages and can recommend the best size, finish, and base for your professional space and wind exposure.

The 5×5 m (16'5" × 16'5") covers a table for 10–12 people or two 4-person tables placed side by side. The Ø 6 m (Ø 19'8") covers up to 14–16 guests or a large lounge area.

Due to its size and weight, we recommend installing it with two people, especially in the Ø 19' 8" size. The base needs to be set up first, then the umbrella is inserted.

It is the opening mechanism: a crank operates an internal spindle inside the pole that extends the ribs and tensions the fabric. The movement is progressive and calibrated for large dimensions.

Acrishade, a solution-dyed acrylic at 7.6 oz/yd² developed by Maanta. UPF 50+, water-repellent, and UV-resistant for 1,500 hours at grade 4.

The color is embedded directly into the molten acrylic fiber, not printed on the surface. The result: the shade holds up far better against sun exposure and salt air, even through entire seasons of open-air use.

The fabric blocks over 98% of UV rays, the highest rating on the UPF scale. The protection is equivalent to SPF 50+ sunscreen, constant for as long as you stay underneath.

At the top of the pole, a solar panel charges throughout the day; the eight ribs integrate LEDs that automatically activate in the evening. No wiring, no electrical setup required.

Yes, up to 37 mph, equivalent to Beaufort 7. This is the highest wind resistance rating in the Maanta umbrella range. For stronger winds, we still recommend closing the canopy.

No, Hydrus is a center pole umbrella with a fixed pole — it does not tilt or rotate 360°. For those features, check out other models in our catalog: Lybra, Auriga, and Cygnus.

Place the chosen base in the final position, insert the pole into the socket, release the perimeter velcro strap, and turn the crank clockwise until it reaches the end of its travel: the fabric stretches taut.

Turn the crank in the opposite direction until fully closed, guide the fabric so it folds neatly along the pole, and secure the perimeter velcro strap.

No, the base is not included. Hydrus comes with the umbrella only: frame, integrated LEDs, canopy, crank, and strap. The anchoring system is a separate accessory, essential for installation.

Hydrus is installed using fixed anchoring. The catalog options are:

  • Concrete anchor plate: for concrete surfaces.
  • Wood floor anchor plate: for decks and wood flooring.
  • In-ground anchor plate: for lawn or soil; size 7" × 19¾".

Use a soft brush and lukewarm water with mild soap. No harsh detergents, no pressure washer. Rinse thoroughly and let it air dry — never in a dryer.

Close the canopy, secure the velcro strap, and cover with the dedicated protective cover. If possible, remove the pole from the base and store it in a dry, well-ventilated space.

For light, brief rain showers, yes — the fabric is water-repellent. For thunderstorms, winds above 37 mph, or extended periods of rain, we recommend closing it to protect the product.

Seven years on the aluminum structure (pole, slats, mechanisms, crank handle, spindle) and three years on the Acrishade fabric, from the delivery date.

Open the package in front of the courier whenever possible. If you notice any external damage, accept the delivery with reservation, photograph both the packaging and the product, and contact us within 48 hours: we handle the claim directly with DHL.

Yes, within the terms provided by law for the right of withdrawal. For Hydrus, due to the size of the package, the return requires a dedicated courier: contact us first to arrange it.
