Cantilever Umbrellas

Shade opens all around

When the space beneath the canopy stays clear, the whole experience changes. The cantilever umbrella brings shade over the table from the side: no pole among your guests, nothing to step around. Two models, distinct mechanisms, one shared logic: cover without getting in the way.

Outdoor parasols
with lateral arm

The off-centre outdoor parasol frees up the area beneath the canopy and brings shade exactly where it is needed. The cantilever parasol keeps tables, seating and pathways tidier, with solutions designed for gardens, terraces, outdoor dining areas and hospitality spaces.

The lateral arm that stays out of the way

Compact, immediate, centred
Auriga, Heliflow®

Auriga, Heliflow®

A single joint adjusts both height and tilt of the canopy at once. The shade moves where needed without repositioning the base, while the foot pedal rotates the cover 360°. Eight ribs with integrated solar LED lighting and included remote control: your outdoor space doesn't end at sunset.

Cygnus, Gas Piston

Cygnus, Gas Piston

The same mechanical principle used in car tailgates: controlled pressure, smooth movement. Opens and closes with two fingers, even from a seated position. 360° rotation via a lever at the base. 10' × 10', 97 sq ft of coverage with no pole in the centre.

Hydrus

Cygnus Duo and Qadro

Multiple tables covered, a single ground installation, gas piston on each arm. The most straightforward solution for large gardens, hotels and outdoor dining areas that expand without the need for new foundations.

The spaces they cover

More freedom beneath the canopy

The cantilever arm works best where the centre of the space must remain free, both physically and visually. From a convivial dining table to a lounge area, from the poolside to a professional outdoor dining setup.

Ideal for:

  • Panoramic terraces where a central pole would obstruct the view
  • Dining tables for 6/8 people
  • Living areas and poolside with continuous coverage
  • Gardens and hospitality spaces
  • Outdoor dining areas and hotels requiring evening lighting

FAQ

What's the difference between Auriga and Cygnus?

The opening mechanism and the lighting system. Auriga uses Heliflow®, a joint that adjusts height and tilt together, and integrates solar LEDs into the ribs with a remote control included. Cygnus opens via gas piston in seconds and supports optional lamps. Both rotate 360°.

Are they wind-resistant?

Auriga and Cygnus hold up to 30 km/h (19 mph / Beaufort 5). In strong winds, it's good practice to close the umbrella. The top airvent in the canopy releases gusts and reduces pressure on the structure under normal conditions.

What's the difference compared to a center pole?

With a cantilever arm, the pole sits outside the covered area — the table and lounge zone stay completely clear. A center pole is more compact and costs less, but takes up space in the middle of the coverage area.

Are they suitable for Horeca use?

Auriga works well for compact restaurant patios and pool areas. Cygnus in Duo or Qadro configuration is the choice for those who need to cover multiple tables with a single setup, without multiplying foundations. For large outdoor spaces or intensive daily use, consider Hydrus as well.
