Please provide approx. 35cm-100cm clearance from each sail corner to the associated anchorage point.

This distance is essential for proper tension of the sail.

Example:

A sail with the dimensions 4 x 6m requires the following surfaces:

  • At least 4,7m x 6,7m = (4m sail + 0,35m + 0,35m) x (6m sail + 0,35m + 0,35m)
  • Maximum 6 x 8m = (4m sail + 1m + 1m) x (6m sail + 1m + 1m)


Too small an area provides too little space for attaching the attachment accessory.

If the distances are too long, the sail becomes unstable in strong gusts of wind.
